Those who are of the Lord's celestial church are represented by the "children of Jonadab," who were to "drink no wine, nor build a house, nor sow seed, nor plant vineyards," which signifies to learn truths and retain them in the memory, which belongs to the spiritual church; but that they should "dwell in tents," which signifies to receive in the life and obey.

The Jewish church does not receive nor obey, although they are taught continually.

But those who obey will be in the celestial church.
