Full text of Isaiah 47
Theme: Of those who adulterate good and profane truth, who are meant by "Babel" [or "Babylon"]. [8, 15]

Verses:
1: These no longer have dominion. [8, 15]
2, 3: They may frame falsities of faith and evils of love; but these will be destroyed until they are not, [8, 15]
4: by the Lord. [8, 15]
5: Those who profane will be thrust down. [8, 15]
6: These falsities and evils have invaded the church and perverted it. [3]
7: They believe that they have dominion over all men, [8, 15]
8, 9: and that their dominion will not cease, by reason of the heinous inventions of worship in which they trust. [8, 15]
10, 11: They will be utterly destroyed, because they have exalted themselves above all in the world. [8, 15]
12-15: All the fictions and inventions of worship will avail nothing, because they will be cast down into hell. [8, 15]
