The TheWord Bible software which is free and great for Biblical study. Users can create their own modules and I have done that for the published works + AE and the AC Index. The AC, AR, and AE are all configured to work like a commentary so when a verse in Gen Ex or Rev is clicked on in a Bible module the corresponding material appears in its own window. I
In creating the modules David Millar set up hyperlinks to access reference Biblical and HD materials. Two screenshots to illustrate the process. In the first image is the AC material displayed on the bottom right - same view in the second image but with a popup window displaying the content of a hyperlink on mouse hover.
